Occam’s Razor by Joe Clifford

Occam’s Razor by Joe Clifford

Rating: 5 stars.

Summary: Away from Cliffords great series featuring Jay Porter, Clifford takes mainly to steamy South Florida with ex college football star Oz who is asked by a long time family heir to get to the bottom her sons conviction in the killing of his niece. Things go downhill fast from there.

Comments: Money can buy you a lot of protection. Clifford nails the crime noir again.

The Broken Places by Ace Atkins

The Broken Places by Ace Atkins

Rating: 5 flood and tornado stars

Summary: A couple of really bad guys escape from Parchman and make a beeline for Jericho to recover some stolen loot they stole before going to the pen. As always many plot lines follow and really open up the series to what it has become, one of favorite reading series.

Comments: What makes this a really fun book is the badness of the two convicts. Some nastiness ensues. Great book again!
